BUSYU is a pipe forming and sheet metal processing manufacturer based in Tokyo, Japan.  BUSYU Kogyo Corporation was established in 1951 by Hideo Hayashi, and, three generations later, the company stewardship remains in the family with CEO Hidenori Hayashi at the helm.

BUSYU's primary trade partners are companies in the automobile industry:  Calsonic Kansei Corporation and Tokyo Radiator MFG Co.; in the medical industry:  Olympus Medical Systems and Toshiba Medical System Corporation; and, in the aerospace industry, JAMCO Corporation.

After 65 years of operation in Japan, BUSYU would like to expand its business to the United States of America, particularly, Silicon Valley.   BUSYU’s strategy is to increase market share through interactive discussions and possibly collaboration with similar tech companies in the Silicon Valley.  The net gain for BUSYU is to improve their proprietary technology systems and attract more international clients with cutting edge technology that is the most advanced in the pipe forming and sheet metal processing industries.

 

BUSYU Japan – Milestones

 

  • In 1951, BUSYU produced concrete molds and sheet metal products for fender covers on scooters.
  • In 1957, most radiator pipes for automobiles were made of cast iron. BUSYU designed produced & Patented an iron-free pipe made of thin brass and developed the double notch method, cutting the processing time in half and 100% material yield achievement.
  • The Patented design by BUSYU was used in all automobiles made by Nissan, and has evolved with the advancement of the automobile industry.

Over the years, BUSYU invented the one-piece design and manufactures varying types and volumes.  BUSYU holds ISO0111 (JQA-QM5534) and ISO14001 (JQA-EM5349) certifications.

Despite the Global Financial Crisis, and the Great East Japan Earthquake, BUSYU continues to successfully innovate and produce at a competitive level.  BUSYU is a recognized leader - Tulsa Area Manufacturers Association (TAMA), the top professional organization for manufacturing recognized BUSYU as a leading company in the Greater Tokyo TAMA.

BUSYU’s capital is 40M yen (about 390,500 USD) and its yearly revenue is about 1.7B yen (about 16.5 million USD).
